1. About us and our services

Optimum TMS is an interventional psychiatry practice based in Columbus, Ohio. We provide consultation and treatment services including:


  • Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS)
  • Spravato (esketamine) therapy
  • IV ketamine therapy
  • BrainAge brain health assessments
  • Related psychiatric consultation services


Detailed information about each treatment is available on our website. Treatment is determined on a case-by-case basis by a qualified clinician based on your individual circumstances.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our website to schedule a consultation or treatment for yourself. We offer treatment to adolescents aged 15 to 17 only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, and only for treatments where the patient's age meets the FDA-cleared scope.


By using our website or services, you confirm that:


  • You are at least 18 years old, OR
  • You are a parent or legal guardian acting on behalf of a minor aged 15 to 17, OR
  • You have authority to act on behalf of the person you are inquiring about

3. SMS communications program

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in (whether through a form checkbox, by replying YES to a confirmation message, or by otherwise providing express consent), you agree to receive automated and non-automated text messages from Optimum TMS at the number provided.


Program description


Our SMS program includes messages related to:


  • Appointment confirmations
  • Appointment reminders (typically sent 24 hours and 1 hour before your scheduled time)
  • Pre-treatment and post-treatment care instructions
  • Follow-up messages from clinical or administrative staff
  • Responses to inquiries or requests you initiate
  • Important updates about your care
  • Notifications that your online assessment results are available, including prompts to schedule a consultation


Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your appointments, the stage of your care, and messages relating to inquiries or assessments you submit to us.


Message and data rates

Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. We do not charge you for the messages, but your carrier may.


Opt-out instructions


You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time:

  • Reply STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a confirmation that no further texts will be sent.
  • You may opt back in at any time by replying START.
  • You may also contact us directly at (614) 933-4200 or info@optimumtms.com to request removal from SMS communications.

Carrier liability disclaimer


Mobile carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost, MetroPCS, and others, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.


Privacy of opt-in information

Your mobile number and consent to receive SMS messages are never shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties for marketing or any other purposes. SMS consent is collected and maintained solely for the purpose of communicating with you about your care directly from our practice.

No clinician-patient relationship is created by using our website, completing a form, scheduling a consultation, or communicating with us electronically. A clinician-patient relationship is established only upon completion of a clinical consultation and acceptance of the patient for treatment.
