Is this you?

For people between prescribers.

Plenty of people end up on an antidepressant their doctor renews once a year, or on nothing at all. Either way, nobody is really managing it. This program exists for that gap.
You don't have a psychiatric prescriber right now
Depression or OCD is the main thing you want treated.
You've tried medication and it didn't stick

Who it isn't for

Not a general psychiatry clinic.

Better to find out now than after an appointment. If you're on the list, take the call anyway - we'll point you somewhere that fits.

ADHD assessment or ADHD medication
Stimulant prescriptions or refills
Benzodiazepines as the reason you're calling
Anxiety on its own, without depression or OCD
Bipolar disorder, mania, or psychosis
Active addiction or withdrawal

Your journey

You won't be coming in forever.

No open-ended "come back in a few months." Every visit has a job, and your scores get retaken so you can see whether the last change worked.

Refills are tied to attending these visits. Miss one and we can usually bridge you once while we rebook - ongoing refills need you to be seen.

A short call  Free - 10–15 min

Basic eligibility, by phone with our intake team. If it isn't a fit, we say so here rather than after you've paid for an appointment.

Your evaluation  60 min

Full history, every medication you've already tried and what happened with each. You leave with a written plan and a follow-up date.

Early check-in  2–4 weeks

How you're getting on and what the side effects are actually like.

Adjustments  Every 4–6 weeks

While we find the right medication and the right dose.

Maintenance  Every 8–12 weeks

Once you're stable. Monitoring and refills, plus a fuller review once a year

Follow-ups can be done by video, so the first appointment is the only one you need to come in for.

If things feel like too much

You don't have to handle it alone. If you, or someone you're worried about, is in crisis or thinking about self-harm, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or text HOME to 741741. Someone is there 24/7, it's free, and it's confidential.

What You're Probably Wondering

Straight Answers to the Questions We Hear Most.

  • Can you take over what my primary care doctor prescribes?

Often, yes - it's one of the most common reasons people come here. Bring the full list to your evaluation. We may want to coordinate with whoever's prescribing now before changing anything.

  • Do I have to come in every time?

No. The first appointment is in person, and follow-ups can be done by video.

  • Will you keep prescribing my benzodiazepine?

We'll review it with you honestly. We don't start them for routine daily use, and continuing an existing prescription isn't automatic. Where reducing is the right call, it's done gradually on a schedule built around you — not stopped abruptly.

  • Can you assess me for ADHD or prescribe stimulants?

No. This program doesn't provide ADHD assessment, stimulant prescribing, or ADHD medication management. Take the screening call anyway and we'll point you toward someone who does.

  • I have anxiety but not depression. Can you help?

Not through this program. We treat anxiety when it comes alongside depression or OCD, but not as the main diagnosis on its own. The screening call is still worth taking — we'll point you somewhere that fits.

  • How long until I feel better?

It varies, and anyone giving you a number without meeting you is guessing. Most antidepressants need several weeks at an adequate dose before it's fair to judge them — which is why the first follow-up is at two to four weeks.

  • Do I have to do therapy as well?

You don't have to. For OCD in particular we'll strongly encourage it — exposure and response prevention does things medication alone doesn't. We can refer you and coordinate with your therapist.

  • What if I miss an appointment?

We can usually cover you with a short refill once while we get you rebooked, if it's clinically safe. Repeated missed appointments mean refills stop until you're seen — that's a safety condition, not an administrative one.
